This is Scott before he left on The Iron Butt Challenge! The goal is to ride from one coast to the other in 50 consecutive hours. Sadly this challenge was not met It doesn't mean he didn't give it all he had. Everything was great until he met Dolly(the hurricane!) who put a stop to his mission. The upbeat side was Scott was going to give it a second chance. Unfortunately after having gone through an earthquake and having his saddle bags stolen, with all his tools in it, he had to stop the challenge once again. Halfway though the challenge his bike began to give him problems. His transmission was about to go out. On the upside he made it to a Harley dealership and protected his beloved bike. He was somewhat bumbed out but he has so many memories of the beauty he was able to see as he drove through our beautiful country from the east coast to the west coast and then again back to the east coast. Not many people are afforded that luxury. Ride on my sweet husband and may God grant you many more sunrises and sunsets on an empty black road!
